Good coordination skills and availability. Good communication skills and accurate reporting. Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English mandatory. Technical knowledge for structure and piping fabrication and related activities (welding, painting, dimensional control, hydrotest, PMI, NDT...) Experience in quality control, fabrication follow-up and quality assurance (optional). Integrity regarding products quality and application of the highest ethical standards during interfaces with client, suppliers and inspectors. DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION Reporting to Hook Up Manager and Operation QC coordinator (functionally), the Offshore QC Supervisor is responsible of all Quality aspects for Hook up activities. He shall ensure that Client quality requirements are fulfilled and process non-conformance through SS7 and client database. Managing a QC team allocated to all supplier sites, the Offshore QC Supervisor gathers all QC concerns from inspectors to manage improvements and proposes corrective actions / technical solutions. These tasks shall be executed within the utmost respect of all Subsea 7 procedures, code of ethics and HSES policy. KEY RESPONSABILITIES - Select QC inspectors with relevant qualifications and experience, induct them to the scope of inspection - Manage the QC inspectors to follow the fabrication/qualification at supplier site/offshore - Implement the QC inspectors competence matrix with regards to the inspection performance. - Participate to implementation of welders qualification matrix - Ensure availability of the latest editions of the most widely used codes and specifications and must ensure that a full set of updated and signed project procedures are available on site/offshore. - Perform QC visits at supplier site on a regular basis for production/qualification follow-up and inspector management. - Prepare and lead criticality rating assessment meetings. - Issue fabrication & installation ITP and quality related procedures - Report on a weekly basis to PQM and HSEQ department - Gather all QC records from supplier sites/offshore, compile and submit to project quality manager.
