• Maritime academy or naval architecture or marine engineering Graduate and a minimum of 5 years in experience • Experience in international Maritime industry such as Oil & Gas or Shipping • Experience working with shipmanagers and shipowners is mandatory • Business mindset and Project management skills required • Diplomatic, preserving and proactive • Fluent in English, French desired • Capability in communication internal negotiation and internal networking • Trips to main CGGV locations to work with internal clients (Bergen - Houston – Singapore) and trips on worldwide basis to visit suppliers. Responsable achats d’affrètement de la flotte Sourcing manager fleet chartering JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Marine Purchasing Director, this position is responsible and accountable for the worldwide management of the fleet chartering for our seismic and support vessels and related short/long term strategies. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • 1. Need definition: Support his internal clients in identifying their needs and in formalizing those needs into functional specifications. • 2. Stand the short term and the long term strategies towards our shipmanagers/shipowners and Maritime assets: Consolidate the spend of the group in chartering the fleet. Consolidate the market information, identify the cost drivers and the supply chain risks of shipping markets (supply vessels and specialized ship for seismic support), assess supplier capabilities. Set up and propose to the stakeholders (internals clients / supports services / Senior Management) the strategy for this family. Coordinate the implementation of the strategy. • 3. Bids, negotiations and Business awards • 4. Coordinate the implementation of selected solutions and follow-up on the performance of the suppliers • 5. Reporting / communication to internal client on benefits from sourcing actions
